During the launch event of Bigg Boss season 11, the show host Salman Khan spoke about whether he feels the heat of the competition from Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan who will be seen as the host for The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch, respectively.
During a media interaction, Salman said to a leading Indian daily, “I think Shah Rukh and Akshay are amazing. Shah Rukh is a great host and so is Akshay. He has also got an amazing comic timing and is quite witty. On the other hand, Shah Rukh has his own personality, his own style, swag, and charisma. I think it’s going to be quite a tough competition “for them.”
Salman further added that he likes the show Bigg Boss and that it has been a learning experience for him.
“I really like Bigg Boss and I have learnt a lot, seriously. Bigg Boss has not only made me more patient but has also taught me when to react and when to let go things. Har bar bolta hu ke aur nahi karunga (I keep saying that I don’t want to do it anymore) but I keep coming back. Mere bina Colors walon ko TRPs nahi milti (Colors doesn’t get TRPs without me). So, they keep getting me back,” Salman said.
As he spoke about the show, Salman added, “It is the most difficult format and you need to have patience, willpower, sensibilities and a thorough knowledge of the game. There’s not much food. Just one bathroom. You have fights. Friends turning enemies. It’s too much to cope up with. I just hope there is no badtameezi (ill-mannerism) in the house. It gets to me.”
On asking whether he would like to bring any amendments in the show, Salman replied, “I do not like the first-week eviction. I think it takes time before people show their real colors. You cannot judge someone in such a short time and that I feel is a little unfair.”
Bigg Boss season 11 is slated to air on Colors on October 1 at 9 pm during weekdays and at 10.30 pm on weekends.
