Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has yet not arrived in cinemas, but grapevine has it that the director has already started planning for his next project. It has been learnt that Bhansali will next direct a film based on child marriage.
According to reports, the project is tentatively titled Hamari Jaan Ho Tum. Bhansali wanted to make this film years ago and had even auditioned Alia Bhatt and Aditya Narayan for lead roles. However, things didn’t fall into place back then and the project was put on the backburner. But now, Bhansali has decided to revive it.
“Alia and Aditya were very young when they auditioned for Hamari Jaan Ho Tum. In fact, we still remember the audition vividly. Alia was a star even at that age. Sadly, the film didn’t materialize at that time. Sanjay got busy with other projects. But now, he wants to make something completely free of historical suggestions. Hamari Jaan Ho Tum will be a bit of a stress-buster,” a source reveals to a leading entertainment magazine.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali does full justice to every project that he takes up in his hands. We are sure that his next film will be as entertaining as his previous blockbusters. But what will be more interesting to see is that whether he sticks to the predetermined cast of Alia Bhatt and Aditya Narayan or takes a new cast onboard.
