Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi of Golmaal franchise said that Golmaal series is like a pension plan for the cast of the film.

“In this comedy film, there is incredible action which we don’t get to see often. We did the first film, unaware of how it is going to pan out. “Then the second part came, then third and now we have part four. As Ajay (Devgn) says, this is like a pension plan for us. It’ll keep going on,” Arshad said at the trailer launch of the film.

On asking Ajay Devgn to share his opinion on the same, he too joked, “It is the same. It’s our pension plan.”

Adding further, Arshad said that that it’s challenging to do comedy films.

Arshad said, “The fact is, it is not easy to write a comedy. That’s the truth. A lot of people have tried and failed miserably.Very few have managed to succeed and do good comedy.”

Tabu mentioned that she enjoyed a lot while working for the film and that it is a welcome change for her to work for Rohit Shetty film.

“It’s a very special film for me. I am a huge fan of the Golmaal franchise. I always used to tell Rohit and Tusshar to take me in the film, even if it was a cameo. “I just wanted to be a part of the gang… Everything then fell into place. It’s the first film in which I haven’t used glycerin. I just laughed and enjoyed a lot,” Tabu said.

The director of the film Rohit Shetty said that the film returns after seven years and that it took much time for them to comeback as they were hunting for a perfect script.

“We were waiting for the story. We didn’t want to cheat the audience. Just because it is a brand, we didn’t want to do anything for the sake of it,” said Shetty.

Golmaal Again is slated to release on October 19.
