Esha Deol and her entrepreneur husband Bharat Takhani welcomed their baby girl on October 20, 2017 post 12 noon at Khar Hinduja hospital. Esha’s parents Hema Malini and Dharmendra along with Bharat’s family were in attendance at the hospital during the delivery. Esha underwent a normal delivery. Having become the father, Esha’s husband Bharat is in cloud nine. To a leading Indian daily, Bharat said, “I can’t even express how happy I am today. I think the baby looks like me, when she smiles it seems the world smiles at you. This is a different feeling, which cannot be expressed in words.”
The name of the child will be officially announced by the proud parents Esha and Bharat on the day of naming ceremony, moreover, Esha and Bharat along with the assistance of Noorein Jumani, an interior designer, have designed the nursery for the new born baby.
Ram Kamal Mukherjee who is the biographer of Hema Malini’s Beyond The Dream Girl officially stated, “Hemaji was extremely delighted to welcome ‘Goddess Laxmi’ immediately after Diwali.”
“Hemaji had put all her work commitments on hold for Esha, she wanted to be with her daughter during the delivery. She has been constantly at home, taking care of Esha,” Ram Kamal added.
Moreover, Esha Deol too has mentioned her journey from being the daughter of the star to motherhood in the biography. She said humorously, “Now that you have made me speak about my entire life, I will have no secrets to hide from my baby.”
Sister Ahana Deol and her husband Vaibhav Vohra too were happy to welcome Esha and Bharat’s baby and said that the arrival of the newly born has completed the family and that now their son Darien will have someone’s company to play with.
