According to a leading Indian daily, as a tribute to the Indian soldiers, yesteryear actress Hema Malini along with Madhur Bhandarkar recently declared the launch of One For All, All For One: A Tribute & Salute to the True Unsung Heroes of Our Nation.
Conceptualized by Sunil Rane who is the Chairman of Atharva Foundation, the event will be conducted on January 31, 2018 in Mumbai.
Talking about the list of stars who would possibly attend the event, Sunil confirmed Prabhas’ attendance at the event, he said, “Almost every actor is eager to participate. We decided to make it big from the North to South. Right now, I can only give away the name of the biggest Tollywood actor, Prabhas, who will also be joining us for this event.”
Talking about depicting the bravery of the soldiers, Hema Malini who was touched by the idea said, “We need to give a chance to the students of Atharva College, with an inclination towards storytelling. We should hold a competition and the winner should be allowed to participate in the event to be held on January 31 at the Gateway of India.”
Madhur Bhandarkar too was impressed with the concept and felt that it is through this event that he got the opportunity portray his extent of patriotism on screen.
He said, “I was really touched by the idea of making short films on our
soldiers. We have received a lot of stories and Sunil has narrated ten wonderful stories to me that prompted me to join this initiative.”
