Presently in Mumbai, Priyanka Chopra dazzled up the awards night with her performance and was also bestowed Global Icon Award. As she was asked about her marriage plans on the sidelines of the show, the actress revealed, “Marriage is not something that can be planned. If I find somebody, somebody suitable then will tie the knot; have not found a suitable guy yet.”
Previously Priyanka had said, “Marriage is definitely on the cards, but will happen when the time is right. It will happen when it is destined to. If I do decide to take the plunge, it would be with someone who understands and supports that. At the end of the day, two people make a relationship work. It will take an understanding and prioritization from both.”
Commenting about Priyanka’s marriage, her mother Dr Madhu Chopra had recently said, “Today, I see many marriages are falling apart. People don’t have the tolerance to give each other and their relationship so much time and to see it nurture. So when Priyanka reaches that stage when she has the time to nurture her relationship and give it the attention it needs and demands, she will get married. It’s not like you have reached a certain age and now it is time to get married. That’s a wrong basis for marriage.”
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in two Hollywood films; A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t it romantic? Priyanka is currently shooting for her American TV series Quantico. She was last seen sharing screen space with Dwayne Johnson and Ivan Reitman in Baywatch.
