1. Sushant Singh Rajput
Before turning into a TV heartthrob, Sushant Singh Rajput was pursuing Mechanical Engineering in Delhi. He eventually decided to follow his passion and move to Mumbai and then there was no looking back. Sushant garnered a lot of acclaims and won many hearts with his role in the television show Pavitra Rishta and then made a successful transition into Bollywood.
2. Kriti Sanon
She went on to win a Filmfare Award for her debut film, but little do people know that Kriti Sanon is an Engineer who completed her B. Tech in Electronics and Communication from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. After graduating, she started modelling and in 2014, she made her debut with Heropanti.
3. R Madhavan
R Madhavan of 3 Idiots and Tanu Weds Manu fame has done his graduation from Rajaram College in Kolhapur in electronics. Apart from engineering, R Madhavan has also been awarded as the best NCC Cadet Maharashtra and who has also trained with the British Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.
4. Sonu Sood
Famous for his roles in films like Kung Fu Yoga, Dabangg and Happy New Year, Sonu Sood is a graduate of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering from Nagpur where he completed his Electronics Engineering.
5. Kader Khan
Veteran actor Kader Khan has done a range of films throughout his career in Bollywood. But before he stepped into acting, Khan had obtained a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Institution of Engineers (India) and even taught the course at MH Saboo Siddik College of Engineering in Byculla for a few years.
6. Taapsee Pannu
Before making a breakthrough with Pink, Taapsee Pannu worked as a software engineer. The actress studied Computer Science Engineering from New Delhi’s Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.
