Vidya Balan believes living life off the camera is important

Film stars love paparazzi as much as they love their private spaces in life. Unlike many actors who are dedicated to work more than their family, this actress chooses her family first over her work. Despite of having stardom in the film industry, actress Vidya Balan doesn’t like her job to interfere in her personal life, as she claims to be a private person.

Vidya said to a news agency, “I have seen great stardom. I enjoy the perks that come with it. But at the end of the day, acting is a job, which I try and do in the best way possible.”

She added, “I am a private person when it comes to people in my life. My husband Siddharth (Roy Kapur) is not an actor. I will not talk about him the way I will talk about myself. I need to respect his right to privacy. Similarly, my side of the family are also not actors, they have not put themselves out in the public.”

Having garnered success in every film that she laid her hands on since her debut film Parineeta, the actress believes that “life beyond movies is important.” During the promotion of her forthcoming film Tumhari Sulu, Vidya said, “I don’t feel it is necessary to make public appearances. I still don’t go out on Sundays. Living life off the camera is important for me as I use those experiences to portray my characters.”

Helmed by Suresh Triveni, Tumhari Sulu is scheduled to release on November 17. Apart from Vidya Balan, the film also stars Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka in pivotal roles.
