Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding has been confirmed by sources. Anushka Sharma flew to Italy last Thursday night with her family While Virat Kohli too has flown to Italy with his family. According to sources, the wedding celebrations will be conducted from December 9 to December 12 in Itlay. According to a leading Indian publication, a source close to the development and the families revealed, “The invitations have gone out to close friends and family. Only a few of Virat’s friends from Delhi have been invited — one is his childhood buddy, who used to play league cricket with him, and the other, who has been advising him on his fitness.”
Currently, Virat is on a beak and will not play for T20 or ODI’s against Sri Lanka. He will fly to South Africa for SA series on December 27. Virat has also informed to not to disturb him during the period of his break. As per the source from the film industry, Anushka too has informed filmmakers to avoid scheduling any dates of her forthcoming films in the month of December.
A source divulged details by stating, “The couple has booked a SoBo five-star hotel for their reception on December 21 in Mumbai.” Virat’s manager Bunty Sajdeh, who is usually quick to dismiss such rumours, has been tight-lipped this time around. There was no response from him despite our repeated attempts till the time of going to press. Interestingly, he had flatly denied any such possibility in October, when the rumours first surfaced after news of Virat’s alleged application of a spouse visa for South Africa went viral. Back then, Bunty had replied to us saying, “These are baseless rumours and there’s no truth to it as far as I know.”
However, despite the actress leaving for Italy, spokesperson of Anushka refuted the rumours by stating it as untrue. Moreover, the guru of Anushka’s family Maharaj Anant Baba has too flown down to Italy.
On being asked by the leading Indian daily whether the guru has left for Europe for a wedding, the guru’s Haridwar Ashram’s Devashish Anant revealed, “Yes, Maharaj Anant Baba is not here, but I won’t say anything else. I won’t say yes, I won’t say no.”
Moreover, a confirmation from another source from the ashram has it that the Baba is in Europe for the wedding, but didn’t reveal any details about the wedding, however, they said that his trip was arranged prior weeks ago.
