Every award is recognized for the work of an individual. However, some get it for their glamorous appearance and some are bestowed for their genuine contribution in the film industry. Star Screen Awards witnessed the big wigs of Bollywood on Sunday night. The glamorous event saw the attendance of Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Neha Dhupia, Rajkummar Rao, Irrfan Khan among other celebs.
Dangal and Tumhari Sulu scooped in maximum awards. Vidya Balan and Konkona Sen Sharma were conferred the Best Actress Award, while Rajkummar Rao and Irrfan Khan won the Best Actor Award for their unbeatable performances in Newton and Hindi Medium respectively.
The Best Director Award went to director Nitesh Tiwari.
